“ Absolutely amazing meal. Server was fast, knowledgeable and kind. Food was amazing. Super chill vibe. Coffee was solid. Very robust breakfast menu. Not your typical “greasy spoon” garbage like some of the other places in town. Had the Classic eggs bene and the Angry Hash. Loved it all. Home fries were perfect and tasted like French fry nuggets. Bene was delicious. Angry hash is angry as hell and a nice kick to start the morning. Only mistake was we saw delicious looking hot chocolate being served to another table replete with candy canes and we should’ve gotten that too. Did not eat lunch but menu looks solid and a nice draft list to select from. I don’t understand the negative reviews. This is such a silly town. Highly recommended unless you have wooden teeth and don’t understand how breakfast works. Wonderful time. ”
“ Went on Monday for our daughter’s birthday breakfast. The food was great and the staff was so sweet and friendly. They noticed it was our daughter’s birthday because she was wearing a 7 crown and they came out and sang happy birthday to her. They even put whipped cream in a cup with a candle in it and she got to blow it out! My daughter was so happy and asked if we could go here every birthday! It truly made her day, thank you! ”
“ As always, food is fresh and delicious. I tried a breakfast special that was really good today. Looking forward to Ray Gifford Memorial Day weekend for brunch. Breakfast special was burger, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, bacon, and cheese with eggs Benedict (no ham). Great combination. Hope they'll add it to the menu! ”
“ We love Angry Egg Two! We live a few blocks away and come in every Sunday for breakfast as a treat! My 2 top favorite dishes are eggs Benny and the waffle sammich with the flavored coffee. I believe the only other place in Bennington that serves eggs Benny is Papa Pete's down the road, but out of the 2, I definitely prefer AE2's version. The hollandaise is perfect, and the homefries are nicely seasoned and crispy. The waitresses are prompt and friendly, and the food is good quality, generously portioned, and affordable. What more can you want for a casual, locally-owned diner experience? They often have free and talented live music playing on Sundays at 11, so plan according to your preference and / or hearing ability/disability. After breakfast, you can walk up and down the street and check out the other great local shops. It's a perfect Sunday if you ask me! ”
“ I door dashed The Angry Egg for the first time today - because Dunkin Donuts wasn’t taking door dash orders today. And I am soooo glad I did. I ordered the French toast which was stuffed with mascarpone cheese, strawberries, blackberries and blueberries, it also comes with sausage links but they substituted bacon at my request. That was the best French Toast ever. They also have a plain French toast if you prefer. The potato pancake was nothing short of perfection. I wish I had ordered more. I tried the fried plantains as I’m big on Plantains. I expected them to be pan seared but that was MY mistake. The menu clearly says fried. I didn’t enjoy them as much but again, that was my mistake. This place had definitely made it to the top of my breakfast food list - I’m hoping to try in person this week. I’ll update my review with photos when I do. ”
“ Yesterday we were in Bennington VT and went to the Angry Egg 2. We had never been there but decided to try the place. I ordered Eggs Benedict and I'm glad I did. This was the Best Breakfast I've had in a Very long time. First thing I notice was the amount of Ham & Canadian Bacon was surprisingly large and how Tender it was. The Sauce had a great flavor and the potatoes on the side had a surprisingly flavor with a slight Kick. The English Muffin was very Fresh & the price was great. 10 Stars to this Breakfast ”
